10-Layer Taco Dip

  • 3.35 oz. package Plant Boss Mild Plant Taco Meatless Crumbles

    2 Tbsp. neutral oil

    2 cups + 1 Tbsp. cool water, divided

    12 oz. extra-firm silken tofu, drained

    1 ½ Tbsp. lime juice

    15 oz. can refried beans

    1 cup salsa

    1 cup shredded lettuce

    1 cup shredded cheese (plant-based suggested)

    1 tomato, diced

    2 green onions, sliced

    1/4 cup black olives, sliced


    1. Cook Mild Meatless Crumbles with oil and 2 cups cool water, according to package directions, and chill.
    2. Blend tofu, lime juice and 1 Tbsp. water until smooth. Chill until needed. (Can be substituted with 1 ½ cup sour cream for a non-vegan option.)
    3. Spread refried beans in a 9x13-inch serving dish. Top with Mild Meatless Crumbles, salsa, tofu “sour cream,” lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, green onions and black olives.
    4. Serve with tortilla chips.
