FOR THE BURGER:
3.39 oz. package Plant Boss Burger Mix Crumbles
2 tsp. neutral oil
3/4 cup hot water
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. lime juice
1/4 tsp. chipotle powder (optional)
Toppings: lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, jalapeño slices
Hamburger buns
FOR THE GUAC:
2 avocadoes, diced
4 oz. can green chilies, drained
2 Tbsp. red onion, minced
1 Tbsp. cilantro, minced
2 Tbsp. lime juice
1 Roma tomato, diced
Directions
- Combine burger mix crumbles, oil, hot water, cumin, chili powder, 2 tsp. lime juice and chipotle.
- Stir well, cover, and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Make the guac: Combine avocados, green chilies, red onion, cilantro, 2 tbsp lime juice, and tomato. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
- Stir burger mixture, then shape and cook burgers according to package directions.
- Let burgers cool for 5 minutes.
- Place on hamburger buns, top with green chili guac, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato and fresh jalapeño slices.
